MOËT & CHANDON SERVE UP SIGNED GOLDEN METHUSELAH TO RAISE FUNDS FOR GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL
Barclays ATP World Tour Finals players sign one-off auction lot
Stars of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals including Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and Roger Federer have etched their signatures on a golden Moët & Chandon methuselah that is expected to fetch up to £20,000 at a Barclays ATP World Tour Finals Gala auction.
The world’s top eight men’s players will swap the tennis court for the Royal Courts of Justice on Saturday night in support of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. The sold-out fundraiser is the only event in the tennis calendar that is supported by the attendance of the world’s top eight players.
Emelie De Vitis, Marketing Manager, Moët & Chandon UK said: “The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals Gala is the only night of the year when the world’s top eight step out in black tie for one charity. As the official Champagne of the Finals, we’re delighted to be able to support, and hope guests dig deep on the night to raise money for such a good cause.”
The Barclays ATP World Tour Finals will take place at the O2 London between the 5th and 12th November 2012. The players confirmed so far include Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, David Ferrer, Tomas Berdych and Juan Martin del Potro. The final two places will be confirmed this weekend.
