Derbyshire born traditional singer and fiddler Bella Hardy has already been nominated three times in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, winning best original song in 2012. Bella’s last album, Songs Lost & Stolen, was voted MOJO magazine’s Folk Album of the Year 2011.
This gig, part of the Bright Morning Star tour features songs with a yuletide twist - from
her local Castleton carols Down In Yon Forest and All in the Morning, to well known favourites O Come All Ye Faithful and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
“Many young musicians can sing and play beautifully, few are as adventurous and intriguing as Hardy.” -
