The festive season gets of to a fiesty start with another lively fun night out at Jump Jive and Shout, with retro diva and vinyl queen Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the very best in pulsating, energy driven 1940s and 50s rhythm n blues, jump jive, boogie woogie, doo wop, blues shouters and more.
Come and join us as we celebrate the dynamic sounds that influenced what would later become known as “rock ‘n’ roll”, Little Richard, Big Joe Turner, Etta James, Louis Jordan, Wynonie Harris, Ruth Brown, LaVern Baker, The Chords etc, sizzlin' sounds that rocked the juke boxes,gin houses,juke joints and rent parties all over America.

A wonderful night out, lively, welcoming and informal with live music from special guest the brilliant guitarist/vocalist Sixteen (of Sixteen and the Sidewinders/King Mob) making his debute appearance at Jump Jive and Shout with a spellbinding live show that evokes the feel of Elvis the Comeback Special and includes rockin’ material from Merle Travis, R. L. Burnside and others. Rockabilly, rock 'n' roll and rockin' blues performed the way they did it back then with guts, power, life, feeling, passion and attitude.
