Alabama 3 Presents Outlaw NYE

New Year traditions at Jamm are maintained as Alabama 3 bring their incredible Outlaw party to the venue with the stunning programme of live music and DJs including the full Alabama 3 band, special guest Craig Charles and an array of incomparable talent!

It is difficult to describe Outlaw night as when Alabama 3 throw a club night, it is an occasion, a happening, like the best house party you've ever been to, full of debauchery but with a hell of a lot more people, an amazing sound system and an array of brilliant DJ and live performance on hand to terrorise both Jamm dance floors long into the night.

Alabama 3 host the Live Room stage with a full band live set. Aside for the melee that this band can create, their style, musicianship and on stage presence also highlights just why the Guardian wrote in no uncertain terms that they are the best live band in the country. Alabama 3 have had another great year with the release of incredible new music and tours across the globe including visits to both New Zealand and Australia for the first time.

Craig Charles is an artist who has been in the public eye since he was 12. First known for his poetry, he has developed a career as an actor, poet, but most importantly for us, within the music industry both as a DJ and band member. He maybe best known for his BBC6 Music show, the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, which he continues to host every Saturday and this Funk and Soul club night is an extension of the show and has covered the length and breadth of the country.

Next up is The Vex. Previously known as Krakatoa, you may remember this lot as they supported Alabama 3 on their 2010 tour. Reborn as four, they are currently flying the flag for the UK's punk-rock revival. Recently named in NME by The Libertine's Carl Barat as his favourite live act on the London scene, their vow to play loud fast and often has seen them tour extensively around the country since their launch in January.

Orlando (aka The Spirit and Alabama 3 keyboard player) brings his new punk-rock-transvestite-rrriot grrrl punk power trio to the stage! Featuring Trixie Malixie, Sheffield's answer to Courtney Love, don't miss the chance to witness her lungs of fury, plus see Orlando attempt to play guitar in a high heels!

In addition to the main attractions, hand picked by the Outlaw crew will be a selection of live and DJ support who will be no less rocking as the carnage continues with more crazy antics that'll have the Outlaw faithful swinging from the rafters.
