bgroup, Just As We Are

bgroup presents a brand new show by choreographer Ben Wright. Just As We Are opens at walking pace, moves through a series of solos and duets and culminates in a spectacular group finale. It is a tribute to an act of uncertainty, an invitation to the audience to consider the level of its participation … how will you share the moment?

Ben Wright is an internationally-commissioned artist whose work moves between extremes –sometimes dark and mysterious, sometimes funny and flippant. His extensive choreographic work has been performed at The Metropolitan Opera in New York, in London's West End and at The Place. No matter the size of venue, Ben’s passion for creating extraordinary experiences and curious yet accessible work is the driving force behind bgroup's growing success.

For Just As We Are, Ben Wright is joined by an exceptional team of collaborators – five performers, lighting designer Guy Hoare, visual artist and photographer Mark Vessey and costume designer Theo Clinkard.
