‘Graft’ is a photography exhibition that takes working London as its inspiration. It has been produced by the Capture Collective, a community photography group founded by photographer and social entrepreneur Damola Timeyin.

Last year, the group were chosen as winners of the HTC Community Project, an initiative which invited the UK public to pitch their ideas for supporting their community for the chance to make their idea become a reality. With the support of HTC and Trevor Nelson, appointed MBE for his services to the community, Damola and the curators have now been able to bring their vision of London to life in this new exhibition.

In addition, the Capture Collective will host a street photography meet-up, ‘Photo Freestyle’, at 1pm on Saturday 12th January. The event is open to all, meeting at the Red Gallery with either a camera or cameraphone, with all levels of photography experience welcome. The best shot from the session will be printed and framed for the photographer to keep.
