Went to see Resolutions 2013 on 01/02 and was blown away by one performance - Heart of the Matter by Sven K Dance. Amazingly polished and professional performaces, in particular from Travis who really commanded the stage with his prescence. The piece was beautifully choreographed with no gaps, indeed I couldn't believe it wa over so quickly and yet it had used all it's time, definitely left us wanting to see a lot more. Well done to all the dancers in the piece as you all danced incredibly well together. Look forward to more exciting work from this choreographer in the future.

Chemical reactions and bonding are taken as metaphors for human relationships. Volatile, unstable elements seek stability, amidst shifting, unfolding periodic patterns. Five athletic dancers experience attraction, repulsion and chemistry.

Hip-hop dance theatre, combining the four elements of the hip-hop culture under one roof (breaking, DJing, MCing, graffiti). The painter in the piece is making a painting with dancers from different origins.

The Big Bang created all atoms and particles in the Universe. The strangest is the Higgs Boson or ‘God Particle’; enigmatic, elusive and energetic its movement influences all entities.
