Steve McCurry: India

Steve McCurry is one of the world's most popular and successful photographers whose tireless travelling over 35 years has resulted in a unique archive of photography, whether taken on assignment or through pursuing personal projects. Of all the countries that he has visited there remains a firm favourite, India. With its rich colours, ancient culture, extreme contrasts, breathtaking landscapes, and the monsoon, the world's most intense annual weather event, McCurry considers it a photographer's paradise. He has returned 88 times.

This exhibition is a celebration of McCurry's most outstanding Indian photographs, the first time that such a collection has been curated.
