Bootleggers Boycott Valentine's Day at Barts

Secret, quirky and relaxed as Barts speakeasy Bar in Chelsea is, their approach to Valentine’s day this year will take on much the same vibe. Choosing to avoid creating a lot of fuss and hype around a one-off cheesy night that can be become awkward for even the most carefree single, Uncle Bart has decided to relieve the pressure and Boycott Valentine’s in exchange for a chilled month of good times, Valentine’s, low key fun.

Though always keen to party Uncle Barts will still be celebrating with a launch party on Tuesday 5th February introducing two special limited editions to the joint:

The Secret Admirers secret message board
To be placed against the french windows, this will provide a quiet corner where patrons can leave secret messages to each other, declarations of love, phone numbers, confessions or even a good old fashioned sonnet or love poem- as long as they fit on a post-it.

The 'Bonnie & Clyde'
A couples cocktail in two cups Bonnie & Clyde is a limited edition duo of drinks for one price. ‘Bonnie’ will be a lovely Champagne based cocktail with fresh rose petals, rose essence and Moet, for all the ladies and ‘Clyde’, Bonnie’s intoxicating partner in crime will be a gentleman's Bourbon based drink with chocolate bitters and chili. The pair will be served with a packet of love hearts to share.

Barts is a quirky 'speak easy' style bar on prestigious Sloane Avenue in the heart of Chelsea. It is the brainchild of Duncan Stirling and Charlie Gilkes, the dynamic duo who also own the highly successful 80’s themed nightclub, Maggie’s and an Englishman's Italian, Bar, Pizzeria and Karaoke, Bunga Bunga in Battersea.
