Fried-day 29 March to Sunday 14 April

With a fun range of Easter egg-tivities, singing birds, and springtime flowers, you can’t beat WWT London Wetland Centre as the best place to be during the Easter holidays.

From ducks to dragonflies, egg laying is a vital part of many animal’s life cycles as they scramble to create the next generation.

In our Easter egg hunt you’ll discover the nesting and spawning secrets of wetland wildlife as you follow our springtime trail. Crack the clues and you’ll be rewarded with a prize.

And why shell out your entire nest egg for a Fabergé ornament when you can hatch your own design? Get creative with our egg painting team and take home your own personalised Easter ornament.

For fledgling egg-gineers, there’s our “Scrap Cheep Challenge”! Can you create a vehicle from recycled materials to safely transport an egg or chick?

Then there are the Easter games: a life-cycle relay race, egg and spoon race and egg rolling.

If the weather isn’t “Sunny side up” don’t worry, we’ll move our egg-tivities indoors.

So bring your brood ova to London Wetland Centre and join in the fun.

Life Under the Surface
As well as all our egg-cellent egg-tivities, from 3-5 April join in with our Life Under the Surface project – the friendly Froglife team will be here to help you make amazing pond creature models to create a pond scene sculpture with aquatic animals and plants. Come back on 6 April to see your model in the completed giant pond!
