In 1961 Viv Nicholson won £152.319 (£5 million in today's money) and announced she was going to "spend spend spend".

Her new-found riches brought her minks, Mercedes and five marriages. Her youth, glamorous good looks and unabashed spending had the press hooked and they followed her every move. But the parties and the taxman took their toll and Viv was left penniless, back on the cobbled streets on which she grew up.

Spend Spend Spend charts this roller coaster of a life in the glorious Technicolor of the 60s .The original production starred Barbara Dixon and won the Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Awards for Best Musical and was nominated for seven Olivier Awards.
