Soundcrash are proud to present the lauded music innovator that is Squarepusher, with his biggest live show to date! Revered electronic producer, bass virtuoso, composer and sound design artist, Squarepusher in 2012 has turned his hand to producing his most spectacular audio – visual live show to date. After the unmitigated success of his Sold Out live ‘Ufabulum’ show at The Hackney Empire back in October, Tom Jenkinson moves it up a notch by taking this exhilarating light show to the Grade II listed former railway engine house, ‘The Roundhouse’.
Beginning his sonic experiments in 1994, Squarepusher constantly strives to push the boundaries and limits of music – electronic and analogue both separately and together, and with the release of “Ufabulum” his influence within today’s global music scene is as vital as ever. Enhanced by a bespoke lightshow that reacts to the music and is nothing short of dazzling, Ufabulum will come to life on March 30, in a setting that befits this immense show – this show is not to be missed!
“Another delightful victory for Tom Jenkinson, then, in a visual and audio feast that gave pretty much every other so-called AV show of recent times a thorough kicking” – Clash
“His most eye-popping set to date” – Metro
“It’s hard to imagine how LEDs can create such a spectacle, but when you’ve got thousands of them as a backdrop, lining the stage, on the front of your setup… The result (is) an engulfing visual journey into something not too dissimilar to the ‘Tron’ universe, sound tracked by Jenkinson’s suitably otherworldly, schizophrenic electronic brilliance” – Clash
“He continues to mine the rich musical borderlands between conceptual art and confrontational theatre” - The Quietus
“One of the best visual shows that dance music has ever witnessed” – AAA Music
