Jazz Divas: Claire Martin (The Great American Songbook)

Claire Martin has been a driving force behind the UK jazz scene for the past 25 years and has won many accolades, including a British Jazz Award no less than six times.

In 2011 she was the proud recipient of an OBE for her massive contribution to music. She has recorded 15 albums, collaborated with musical luminaries including Stephane Grappelli and Sir Richard Rodney Bennett and regularly co-presents the BBC Radio 3 programe 'Jazz Line Up'.

In tonight's programme, Claire and her superb trio, will feature classic love songs from the Great American Songbook. Including; Gershwin's How Long Has This Been Going On?
