Night of Adventure

The world’s top explorers and daredevils are gathering under one roof for one night only to share their experiences of adventure with a live audience.

Speakers include Mike Hall who obliterated the round the world cycle record in 2012 in just 91 days, and adventurer Ian Packham who travelled solo and unsupported round Africa by public transport. Each speaker is limited to 20 slides with only 20 seconds for each. Event organiser Al Humphries says that although the speakers may have found themselves in some pretty hairy situations, their talks on March 11th could well be their biggest challenge to date.

The aim of the event is not only to celebrate the spirit of adventure but also to raise money for Hope and Homes for Children. The UK based charity works with willing governments helping to get abandoned and orphaned children out of institutions and into loving families, so ‘Night of Adventure’ can’t think of a better charity to support.
