Market Meltdown & Martini Mondays

Feeling the heat of the trading floor? Bonds Bar at Threadneedles, the Square Mile’s original five star boutique hotel and former Victorian banking hall, will be offering city slickers light relief with Market Meltdown and Martini Mondays.

Market Meltdown is a brand new board game where players can make billions of pounds as the stock market melts – players take on the role of traders, betting hundreds of millions on behalf of the bank. Part familiar board game format, part roulette with a twist, to win Market Meltdown players will need skill as well as luck.

What better place to spin the wheel than on the original marble banking counters in the City favourite, Bonds Bar. Games will be available for bar guests every Monday evening complete with a menu of bar snacks and cocktails. What’s more the signature Martini or eponymous ‘Threadneedle Street’ - for a true taste of The City - will both be available on Monday’s only for the special price of £8.
