If you’ve always wanted to eat a whole metre of pizza by yourself, here’s your chance.It’s not just about stuffing your face though, as the wood-fired pizzas at this Neapolitan pizzeria stick to authentic recipes using Italian ingredients.
You know what you’re letting yourself in for when you order the 32 oz tomahawk steak at this sleek hotel restaurant. That’s just under a kilo of meat, and it comes on an epically-sized bone. After that there’s cheesecake – don’t baulk at the £14 price tag as even though the menu doesn’t say so it’s almost big enough to feed a family of four.
At this Argentinean steakhouse in Islington, the 700g churrasco steak grapples for space with everything else on the table.
Breakfast at Hawksmoor is a big event, and you might not want to have a clear diary afterwards. The full English is hefty enough, but if you go for the Hawksmoor Brekkie you get a bacon chop, sausages, black pudding, bubble and squeak, bone marrow, beans, mushrooms, toastand eggs. Phew.

Homeslice began life as an itinerant food truck, but their whopping 20 inch pizzas proved so popular they set up a permanent home in Neal’s Yard. Toppings include very British ingredients like lamb shoulder and bone marrow.
All portions are large at this BBQ joint, but you can be extra gluttonous by ordering one of their combos, such as the mammoth platter with half a chicken, pulled pork and sausages.
It’s one of London’s top gastropubs, and their Sunday roast is one of most generously sized. Choose from pork belly with crackling, black pudding and roast potatoes, or beef with all the trimmings.
