Purveyors of fine fragrance Jo Malone are launching a new Limited Edition cologne and candle on 1st May, the latter of which will support the company's garden charities around the UK.
Jo Malone supports marginalised communities in key cities to build and maintain beautiful, scented gardens. Collaborating with dedicated charities they aim to harness the power of gardens to improve the lives of those living in deprived and vulnerable situations; normally due to the isolation that comes with mental ill health, addiction, poverty or disability.
Each project is supported through the sale of the Jo Malone London Limited Edition Silk Blossom Home Candle with a donation equal to the retail price going directly to the charities. With its fruity and enticing fragrance, Silk Blossom encapsulates nature’s blooms at their most tempting. Apricot-fresh with a touch of spice. Airy with clouds of powder-soft heliotrope, nestling on a bed of moss. This joyful candle is encased in dégradé glass, echoing the gradually fading pink of the silk blossom flower.
The funds donated will care for and cultivate their existing gardens across the UK, including the Old English Garden in London, a collaboration with the charity Thrive, as well as The Herb Garden within Edinburgh’s Redhall Walled Garden run by SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and The Kirkdale Country Garden in Liverpool with the charity Rotunda. Proceeds will also go towards a new garden in Bristol in partnership with St Mungo’s Broadway, a charity that helps to rebuild the lives of homeless people.
