Fashion Find of the Week...

Love London

This week I paid a little visit to Osprey London's Christmas in July Press Day and not only fell in love with the very enticing leather goods, but the store as a whole.

Situated in the old Barclay's bank building at the lower end of Regent Street, the brand new flagship, which opened in April, has been transformed by designer Graeme Ellisdon into a cavernous country house of trinkets. Chesterfield sofas, carved wooden tables, parquet flooring, antlers, taxidermy and cases of butterflies fill the space - all of which are available to purchase. I completely fell head over heels in love with an armchair formed of antlers, the reindeer rugs and hare-fur cushions; if I were to have my own home, this is exactly what it would look like.

Amongst the stunning leather handbags (The Fairmont vintage leather satchel is absolutely going on my wish list), must-have belts and covetable homewares there was one little beauty that caught my eye. Brand new to the collection, the Gaumont wallet, in strokeable hair-on cowhide, is to die for. Available in neon blue, yellow or - my favourite, obviously - pink, it's certainly a statement piece. My trusty Liberty leather wallet is currently falling apart at the seams, but now I definitely know what I will be replacing it with!
