The All In London Blog

Actor Naomie Harris, human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger and broadcaster and journalist Mariella Frostrup joined thousands of campaigners as they urged leaders to commit to tackle the biggest problems of our time on London's Millennium Bridge yesterday, ahead of the signing of the new Global Goals agreement at the UN Summit.

London wasn't the only destination for campaigning, as more than 150 Light the Way rallies took place in over 100 countries worldwide including Sydney, Delhi, Johannesburg, London, Sao Paolo and New York. Later today world leaders gather in New York at the United Nations to adopt the Global Goals – an historic agreement that has the potential to shape the next 15 years of global development and create momentum for a long-term climate agreement in December.

action/2015 is a citizens’ movement of more than 2,000 organizations, networks and coalitions from over 150 countries united by the belief that 2015 is a critical year for progress in the fight against climate change, poverty and inequality.
