Fierce Finds for Little Ladies

Love London

With a niece and three goddaughters, I've gained a reputation as the aunty that provides them with fabulous outfits each birthday and Christmas (seriously, they were some of the best dressed babies in Kent), but I do get a tad bored of trying to find things that aren't insipid shades of pastel pink/covered in princesses/Peppa Pig.

It's no mean feat and yet this Christmas I seem to be spoilt for choice. I've picked three of my faves - hopefully their mums won't be reading this...

Boden never fails to impress with pieces for the little ones and I absolutely adore their space-themed appliqué high tops (from £34.50). How utterly cool are these? Kind of wish they made them in adult sizes to be honest... There's a whole collection to go with, featuring dresses, tops and leggings adorned with planets and stars, to encourage the inner astronaut in everyone. www.boden.co.uk

I've been tasked with buying my two year old niece her first dressing gown and while the girls' floral and unicorn themed ones are lovely, as a fiery, feisty, shouty Leo I feel this Joules number is much more appropriate for her. She will hands down start roaring like a lion as soon as she sees it. Good for her. From £29.95 at www.joules.com

A good denim jacket should be in every woman's wardrobe - no matter the age - and Gap's version, with its subtle nod to Mickey Mouse, is just the right level of playful and cool. There's also a pretty spesh pair of matching jeans, not to mention a hoody with actual mouse ears. SOLD. £34.95www.gap.com
