Cosy with nice stain glass windows, but their staff are consistently so unhappy and rude, it's a bit of a worry. (I keep wondering if there is a hidden camera and it's a reality TV version of Fawlty Towers.) Don't go for the service. Consider it an 'experience'.

Would have to mirror the comment regarding how this boozer is not full of stuck up locals. I live around the corner but wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth - I worked and work hard and to be honest some locals are irritating - you won't find them in here though.

Good Sam Smiths beers, nice atmosphere and a proper pub feel to it.

Amazing to find a non-pretentious venue in this area. Good beer, nice staff and edible pub food. It is definitely a real local.

this is probably the best and cheapest beer in london. the range of beer is excellent and the food menu is great. the pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the staff and management are very pleasant and helpfull. it has two bars with the top bar offering table service during lunch hours. all round this is a top pub. well worth a visit.
