This is,for me the best boozer in Wapping. This was my local for 4 years and it was and i enjoyed every minute of it.I moved from Bristol to Wapping and the first thng you checkout are the Locals the "other pubs" in Wapping with the exception of the "Turners old star",are tourist traps all well and good(for the tourist)but not for the locals. The "White swan" to be the best. It was hard at first to meet people but once you show your face, after a while,"hello ther mate"and before you know it you've made friends and what good 'uns they where.Great people great boozer. After all it's the people that make the "Pub" and not the other way round.Enjoy!!!!

Here they serve one of my favourite dishes of all time. A vegetarian lasagne with chips, absolutely astonishing! Do not dare visiting wapping without eating this dish!

That a wonderful wapping pub it is. When your watching the games its like actualzuy being at the footie match yourself what a lovley footie atmostfire i must say. Also if your quite normal and like to have a nice drink on the friday it is wonderful because you have have an ex british boxing champion singing th a talenented vice with a lovley range of music. Also people of all ages amd disabilities are welcomed no hassle just a lovly type of east end pub. Also now i have heard they do breakfastes i have tryed them and delicious. Oh i will be back thier again.

A definite locals pub. Unless you're from the East End, or an ardent footie fan (they are show all the games), then the chances are the welcome won't be overly warm here.
Have your say
