Stayed in the Tower Hill area in Jan 2009. There are many pubs and restaurants within walking distance of the tube station. Found that The Chamberlain provided the perfect mix between quality and choice of food, selection of ales, and a really pleasant atmosphere. Its not cheap, but only a little more expensive than some of the pubs that are much less appealing.Have a look!
