Crypt Bar

My + the missus went to london for the jubilee we arrived at 10:30 and found our hotel
nowhere was serving food,we spotted the crypt oppersite the hotel,went in + was given a warm cockney welcome from mimi the owner
we asked if there was any chance of food,she said everything was finished but would happily do a round of butties
we were more then happy with this
10 mins later she returned with the most amazing bacon butties and had done us chips to go with them on the house
mimi displayed a cockney charm and hospitality you so often hear of yet rarely encounter

A rare find in today's themed/wetherspoons/plastic pub era. A good old fashioned real pub serving good ale and excellent food....all at realistic prices. Not the greatest decor, but 4 pool tables and 3 dart boards (although 2 can't be used when pool is being played) make this a great lunchtime or afterwork pub. Very friendly staff.
