Jerusalem is a minimalist downstairs bar, where the people add the warmth and the atmosphere - it gets very busy in the evening. The food is modern European and occasionally there are DJs in the evenings as well as live music sets.

I have just spent a disappointing evening at Jerusalem. The start, middle and end were ruined by the abrasive door staff. Once past his rude greeting, you're in and enjoying a drink, only for him to disturb you by physically wedging you between two chunky tables without warning! The evening wouldn't be complete without some verbal, sexist abuse as you leave - a tripple whammy of offensiveness. The toilets smelled really bad too. I would not recommend this bar.

Jerusalem is a fantastic night out. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, the music is great and i love the old castle meets modern design interior.
The food is amazing and i have had many memorable nights out with friends in there, as well as warm and cosy lunches or evening drinks with my boyfriend.

It's only downfall is the small outside area behind the building.

Otherwise, i highly recommend that this bar is tried.
