Joining the headliners across the two festival sites in Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire will be four-time Grammy and 2015 Brit winner Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, The Script, Hozier, George Ezra, Stereophonics, Brit winners Paloma Faith and James Bay, Olly Murs, Tom Jones, Clean Bandit, Kodaline, Ella Henderson, Hozier and many more.
This year’s festival will also have a dedicated dance tent that will host a world-class line-up of the freshest DJ talent. The Dance Tent will be the ultimate destination for dance music heads at the festival, building on the previous dance music offering. Oliver Heldens and Hannah Wants will take the headlining spots over the weekend, accompanied by UK garage sensation DJ EZ, BBC Radio 1 Xtra’s Mistajam, My Nu Leng, Alex Adair, Sam Feldt, Philip George, Toddla T Goldie, Moxie and Marvin Humes presents Luvbug. Furthermore, the Virgin Media Our House stage will see superstar DJ Mark Ronson perform an exclusive collaboration with A-Trak, all of which will be streamed on the Virgin Media YouTube channel.
The hottest names in music will be performing alongside hilarious comedy headliners Russell Kane, Frankie Boyle, Seann Walsh, Shappi Khorsandi, Nick Helm and Gary Delaney who will all take centre stage in the Glee Club Comedy Tent.
The glamorous V Style camping will also be returning for its fifth year. V Style is now an established part of the V Festival family, giving music fans the chance to experience the best of both worlds – enjoying a mix of music and comedy and relaxing at pampering stations and in ready built bell tents, huts, and luxury yurts.
The festival is happening over two sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire. The lucky winner will win a pair of tickets to attend the festival for the day at either location.
