I can see why people might comment on the owner being rude but I think thats just his thing and it's all a bit of an act. I like him - big, eccentric character. You don't set up and run a record shop without being a little pedantic.

Good place for hunting for records and you can pick up bargains if you're willing to dig deep enough.

The stock is old and some of it is very over-priced. But the major problem is the owner, who is unbelievably rude!!

I came across this record shop by chance while looking for an antiques shop. I collect rock'n'roll records, but only 78s, and it's quite unusual to find any in second-hand shops these days. But this shop turned out to be an excellent find - stacks of LPs, 45s AND 78s. The owner was a little off-putting at first being so direct in his questioning, but he was genuinely interested and we had a good chat, during which he produced more 78s from behind the counter. The prices were very reasonable and I walked away very happy with my purchases. There's no reason why collectors of LPs and 45s should not have an equally interesting time there.

I've just moved to the area, & visited Haggle Vinyl today. I thought as a record shop it was well stocked, with loads of great music in there. The guy behind the counter became very rude when I was just about to leave.
He asked me if I was looking for something in particular, & I replied and said a few artists which I couldn't seem to find. He responed with, 'Your just wasting time, I think you should leave' I was amazed at how rude he was for no reason whatsoever.
I thik if u go in to browse & not buy he gets nasty with you.
Avoid like the plague, also the prices were way above what you'd normally pay for the records he stocked.
I'd recommend 'Flash Back' records in Crouch End, friendly staff well stocked & well priced.
