This place does the BEST salt beef bagel in London! Yes, better than Brick Lane. Bagels are soft in the middle and toasted (lightly) on the outside. Filling is salt beef, cheese, pickles and a little mustard. Delicious!
The owner is just the sweetest guy ever and so friendly. Couple of tables outside to enjoy the sun. RECOMMEND!

I think that Bel's Cafe is a really good place to go and eat- the food there is amazing yet you can still eat for a good, decent price! Bel's Cafe sells not only bagels and different types of breads, but also hot food and of couse English Breakfasts(on all day)! Even though it does get busy sometimes, you have to wait a while but it is worth it after all.
I have to say that the coffee there is of a high standard. The quality of Bel's Cafe overall is great- the food, the service and the price- which I greatly recommend to anyone to go there.

I stumbled across Lamb's Conduit Street and in particular Bel's Cafe a few years ago. Since then no visit to London from my native Yorkshire is complete without a visit to that particular establishment. Where else in the capital could you get a full English breakfast (served all day might I add) for 3 people, including toast and coffee, and still get change from £15?!

The place is tiny but if the weather's good you can sit on one of the pavement tables and watch the street go by. It's often very busy, especially at lunchtime, so you sometimes have to wait a while to be served, but that's testament to what a super place it is.

To the owner of the cafe, and all the other retailers down Lamb's Conduit Street, thank you and well done for creating something that resembles a village in central London. I only hope that the only multinational "blot" down there doesn't cause a flood of others.

I look forward to dining at Bel's during my next trip to London in April!
