Cafe Du Coin

After having had breakfast in this place for close to 10 times in 14 days (July 2022), we simply have to aknowledge: this place is ‘Yolk Heaven’... No better quality free-range eggs in nor around Earl’s court; feel free to take our word for it, we DID try other places. But apart from that, there’s plenty more that speaks volumes in favour of this establishment; the genuine friendlyness of the staff – and that goes for éverybody there! – probably being the most important one. The gentile nature of the place is heartwarming. Just what you need before noon; together with those eggs, obviously, and some really, réally good coffees… (yep; they know how to make thàt work as well.) Don’t be stressed, pressed, or in whatever kind of hurry; it’s not what this place is about. Don’t expect to have your plate at the right time at the right table – sometimes things don’t go that way. Just enjoy whatever you’re having, together with whoever is there – there’s locals, passers-by, and regulars aplenty. Lovely outdoor seating as well! (Nothing fancy; just very enjoyable –perfectly covered from rain, wind and/or blistering sunshine…) Rest assured: everybody that is working there has simply and solely your very best interests at heart. And that’s saying something, in times like today & everyday... Definitely the next-best thing to having breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon tea at home!! (Filip & Petra – Antwerp, BELGIUM)

I use the Cafe du Coin before every Chelsea home match and I find it consistently friendly and with great food. The wifi is also very useful.
