Bankete Cafe & Restaurant

We were staying at the London City Ibis and went out in search of 'The Real Greek' at Spitalfields Market. We just happened upon 'Bankete', on Bell Street, and it seemed to serve a good variety of food at decent prices. Inside it was like being abroad, all the other customers seemed to be Brazilian or Portuguese. Two of us opted for the Brazilian House Special 'Feijoada Brasileira', one a cheeseburger and one the Chicken Breast. It was all lovely, the service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great - enhanced by live Brazilian music and the Caipirinhas and Sagres beer went down a treat. I would definitely recommend it and hope to go back next time we are in London.
