As well as arguably being the first song to popularize rap, Fryer’s Delight is a Holborn chip shop famed for its exquisite batter. The dipped fillets are fried in the classic beef dripping, which results in the crispiest of crusts. Portions are generous but this is no frills dining so don’t expect winning smiles to go with those happy portions.

Just finished eating fish cake and chips...the chips were not fresh and the fish cake one of the blandest I've ever tasted.

It's not often that one sits in and eats fish and chips but we were persuaded to on walking passed the Fryers Delight fish and chip shop. And so glad we did. The chips were great, the fish was perfectly fluffy inside the crisp batter and the Coca-Cola was, as ever, incredible. Leaving aside the glass of Coke, the fish and chips here are worth travelling for.

I was served in Fryer's Delight quickly and was very tasty fish. The restaurant has some very polite workers. I'll come back.

I had a meal here with my wife and we both recommend that you visit this establishment. Great sit down fish & chips!! Looks as though the take-away was good as well. Nothimg fancy but a solid dining experience! I am a regular here now.
