Munchies may well be the only decent eatery in East Ham for lunchtime grub but their prices are not exactly cheap. Looking at their prices, anyone could be forgiven for thinking they are up in the West End (if you ignored the heinous architectural disaster that is Newham College opposite and the general populous that stumble out of there). It it was reasonably priced for where it is located, I would eat from there more often as the food is good and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

I go to munchies every day for my lunch and have to say that it is the ONLY descent place to eat in East Ham! Unless of course you would like to risk the chicken and rib shops which are a plenty,like on evey corner! Try the freshly made specials or the jackets which if you get there just before noon, are usually being taken out of the oven.
