The Coop on the Links has always had its problems but the staff do their best. My main problem is the loud music. If you're in the aisles with the speakers directly above, it's unbearable. I notice someone else has complained about it on here. I don't understand why they do it as a lot of their customers are elderly and I doubt they want loud pop music to add to the ordeal of standing in a queue or trying to remember what you came in for. I've sometimes left and gone elsewhere rather than endure it.

They never have stock and the employees while helpful do not seem to care that it isn't put out. Often I go in to pick up something and there are bare shelves, especially if it is on special. The longest time was two months for them to restock crisps. I usually go elsewhere before I go here now

The staff are friendly and helpful and the store does have a wide range of goods but the problem is that the music is way too loud. My friends and I shop here for convenience but are all put off by the volume of the music which rather than encourage you to stick around and buy more stuff, tends to make you scurry round as quickly as possible and out the door before your hearing is impaired.

I tend to avoid going into this shop when possible. You are more than likely to find yourself in a queue ten people deep, with only one person on the checkout.
That said, they do have a reasonable range of products, so if you don't mind poor service and queuing for 20 minutes....
