Cheung's Oriental Supermarket

Not wonderful choices but quite good for a small shop. It has frozen stuff (eg won ton parcels and weird fish), Tin stuff (eg bean curd), Fresh stuff (eg unusual vegetables with no labels to say what it is). Bottles (eg mushroom sauce, oyster sauce)

Generally cheaper than Big Chinatown but Chinatown has unbeatable variety.

They speak English in this shop which is a big bonus because I can't read Chinese. Even the old guy understands English.

Really helpful - I know so little about Chinese food sometimes I don't know what the stuff I'm looking for looks like - they're always really helpful and when I go in with my daughter in her buggy they go and get it all for me as I can't wheel the buggy around in the shop.

Fantastic little shop. The owner is lovely and has given me great advice on recipes when I'm looking to tweak them or try something new. They also have holy thai basil, which can be really difficult to find in London.

The owner, Helen is an absolute star. Very friendly, approachable and helpful and will always go all out to provide you with excellent sevice. There was a time when i was short of change and she was kind enough to trust me to pay the remainder the next time I came in. Well stocked and reasonably priced too!
