I started to love Indian food when I had food from Babur take-away and restaurant. Before that I would not touch the food. Now I love Indian food and have had my Indian friends say I am more hooked on it tban them. Of all the places I have eaten the food still after 27 years they are the BEST! Friends down under in oz still talk of there food. Lovely Jubley says a Greek!

It's clear that this restaurant has problem pleasing its customers from previous reviews. We ordered our food which came within 45 minutes in a fancy box but was stone cold , so we had to reheat in the microwave, also only one rice came with our two dishes leaving us with one insanley small portion to share (in a 50ml pot)! We rang up to complain but the employee hung up , so we rang back and finally spoke to a manager who offered us a 25% discount only! As first time customers , we will not be ordering from Babur again , def not worth the high prices !!! All style, no substance

I'm just leaving a review because I don't think the other one does justice to Babur.
Yes, sometimes their waiting times are a little long if you order for delivery but that's just because they're are very popular. Why are they popular? They do the best Indian takeaway I've ever had. Always high quality, never any complaints. Just have a look at other reviews else where on the web. Really really nice food.
If you're in a hurry to get it, just walk over and bring it home with you.

I ordered food on Saturday 26th February. It arrived after 1h45min, the shop could not find the driver or telle where he was. My food arrived cold.. I had to heat it up- with no microwave! I complained upset with myself for acceping and paying for the cold food. Mr Olly said I could get a discount on my next order. With this in mind u ordered again on Wednesday 2nd March. This time thinking it would be less stressful than the Saturday evening. It took 45 minutes which Is acceptable but the food was COLD again! I can not recommend the food as it is like all Indian takeaways- same menu-same taste-nothing new. I suggest avoidance if you are used to a good takeaway service. I will not b going back! If I want a currying thinki may make a trip across to east London or go south Indian as the borough has some tasty ones!
