Avoid, avoid, avoid.

This used to be a lovely, family run community pharmacy, open until late, and extremely kind and helpful with all kinds of health queries, requests and needs.

Sometime in 2015/16 it was taken over by new Managment, who are visibly more interested in profit than people, and more interested in fleeing customers than helping the community.

The pharmacy itself has been re-designed, clearly to have a more 'upmarket, boutique' feel - based on the new kind of ' customer' they are hoping to attract. This means they now stock about one third of the products they used to. If you're looking for general, basic products you'd expect to find in any pharmacy - don't come here, they probably don't sell it any more.

But that would be ok, if the attitude of the pharmacists themselves hadn't changed so dramatically. They are cynical, overtly profit-driven and care a lot less about the health of the community, and more about flogging drugs to them

What can I say. This Chemist shop is an local institution. Having grown up in NW4 from 1966 Warman Freed has always been there, for me as a child and my children. I now live in Hertfordshire where there are no 24 hours chemists as far as I know I am happy to drive all the way to Golders Green to get what I need. I recall being in my teens and asking the pharmacist at Warman Freed to give me something for my persistent cough as I was going out clubbing. They sold me a bottle of Covonia that worked a treat, I love Warman Freed..
