Have been looking to buy my wife the classic hand bag for her 30th Birthday.
Went down to the store on monday, sales assistance was extremely helpful.
Went to pay for the goods and credit card declined, asked the cashier to put the card through again. Again, card is declined, phone my bank and asked why?
Bank confirmed payment of two chanel transaction has been approved and prcoessed.
Bank gave me two authorisation codes with the transaction. pass these codes over to the cashier, cashier phones bank marchant.
Bank Marchant response were; 'we'll have to wait 24 hours for confirmation'.
am I suppose to be ok with that?- I think NOT!
embarrassed, gutted and angry. no bag for wife's 30th birthday and a big kick in the teeth with £5000 gone out of my account.
Chanel wasn't interested in what I had to say and confirmed that the transaction had been decline. I have never felt so lost and embarrassed in my entire life! the staff tried to hurry me out of the store asap.
will never go back there again! staff are great as long as you're buying and the transaction is striaght forward but has soon as there's a problem or gitch, they are not prepared to help or resolve the issue.
I would give minus -10 of of 10.
