The Salvation Army
Charity Shop at 9 Princes Street
The Salvation Army has a chain of charity shops that sell second hand clothes, books, music and bric-a-brac items.
I think that the shop has wonderful items, staff really friendly, must admit some items were expensive, but the quality of the items are really good, would recommend to anyone.

I went to that charity shop 3 times lately and I must admit that unfortunately, I won't go there again. Maybe it's linked to the rent in Mayfair, but the prices are really high (not charity shop prices to me at all); they don't seem to have enough staff/volunteers on the shop floor and this seems to make them feel very paranoid about shoplifting. They have a really annoying policy on how to use the one dressing-room, and every time I went there I had the unpleasant impression I was treated more like a potential shoplifter than an actual customer and was also spoken to very rudely once (I do volunteer work for a charity shop myself, I know how difficult it can be, but this is no excuse). It's a shame, my money won't go towards that charity anymore...
