I've lived in Stokey my entire life. I am a 44 year old woman. Hamdys is no longer what it used to be. The three men who work there seem to think that they are entitled to shout berate/bully a lone female. There are many other newsagents in Hackney that don't sell porn and don't feel the need to advertise it. From my experience they do not do this out of respect for women. If you are a woman do not dare assert yourself in this shop. It will not be tolerated. Even if you have been overcharged for a mistake that was their doing. In their sexist hubristic being you do not have the right to be spoken to with respect. You must accept this to be a customer here. I do not and will not.
