Moving City

Terrible service. Booked in to see a property, had a call from someone else to change the time by 30 mins (no prob). I arrived at the property & called the contact I was given - no response. Got a text to say she had left the flat 30 mins earlier (original booking time) and gave me the number of her colleague. I called with no answer. After 20 mins waiting outside I got a text saying he couldn't talk. Asked whether I should wait I got a reply to say the flat had gone & he thought he text me earlier (he didn't). Now just received a sales call as had a missed call from me from last night. Awfu

Polite service and seemed very knowing of the area.

The service however was very bad after signing the documents and the company were below average at getting back to us- if they ever did.

I would suggest that the company improve their after sales service and be more helpful after the money has been handed over as we felt very left out in the cold.

Think carefully before using their services. I do not like posting bad reviews but it was clear the politeness was but a front for signing a document.

Avoid like the plague!

we were fed lots of sales speak as the property was going under maintenance and would continue while we were in the property- absolute rubbish!

As we moved from out of town we were then used as the tennis ball in the blame game between landlord and estate agent and due to their dire organisation skills, the place never truly got sorted.

It should also be noted that while dealing with the company all original employees have since 'moved on'.

If you do however use them I would make sure you get EVERYTHING in a legally binding form.

I was very satisfied as a landlord. Moving City provided excellelent service. They found tenants pretty quickly, reference them and made sure that move in process goes smoothly.

I live 100 miles from my property and Moving City were fantastic in finding good tenants quickly. I have nothing but praise for their office administrator, Stacey, who was at all times friendly and efficient and went beyond her job to help when we hit problems. I would definitely use them again.

Moving City recently let a flat for me as I live two hundred miles away. They assessed the rent I could expect to get and delivered not only in finding tenants, dealing with viewings, drawing up the contract and inventory but also all the ancillary issues, such as getting professional cleaners and giving access for a carpet fitter etc. The service was excellent and I will use them again and can fully recommend them.
