As a local resident for over 15 years,and a private tenant in the surounding area-I was fumming when I read your comments(which I accidentaly stumbeled upon)!
I have been trough and got to know majority of the are's estate agents and offices.
And I am sure that your comments a simply a gruge!
BLM are one of the very few decent,responsible and honest agents in this area full--which is always of vultures!They are in fact the only agents I can recommend in the W2/W11/W10 area.
And I am not the only one!I am yet to meet a local who has bad view of their services!
I was recommended their services trough a friend(who in fact had to persuade me to use an agent again,and she had used them to sell and buy and find tennants herself!) and she promised I wont be disappointed.
And I was not!
They are helpfull and do go out of their way within reason.
In a barely regulated rentals market-they are one of the best,who do obide by all (voluntary!!) codes of practice!
But after all, when you live in London-you must posess common sense-and loads of it!

Lettings guys are ok but don't touch the property management team. A good friend was left with a huge financial, legal and physical mess to clear up after a bad tenant was allowed to run amok, after which BLM walked away saying "not my problem any more". Steer well clear.

We do our utmost to avoid "bad tenants" nut unfortunately they do exist from time to time. We always vigorously pursue our client's interests but this has to remain within the constraints of the law, which often appears slow and cumbersome. High personal customer service lies at the heart of my company's culture.
