Location Location

I had registered with most letting agents in Stoke Newington and LocationLocation were one of the only agents to follow my initial request through and try to help us find what we were after. Peter, who dealt with us was very helpful and friendly. The process was very quick and easy and requests we made to the landlady were passed on quickly. I would happily recommend them to friends.

I have been looking for a new property in Stokey for a while and have interacted with several estate agents. I was particularly impressed with Location Location for their level of friendship and professionalism. I dealt with Azhar and Vicky (the director) and they have been both extremely helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the housing market, passionate about their work and eager to meet our changing needs. I would highly recommend this little and innovative agency to anyone interested to buy or sell their property in the area.

I would strongly recommend avoiding them, to describe our dealings with them as terrible would be a understatement! We rented a unfurnished flat from them only to find the previous tenants furniture in the flat, this was around 2pm. They diid not send someone around until 10pm to remove everything while we had to wait with a lory full of our own furniture. The flat had only been hoovered, no other cleaning had been done. The bathroom was covered in mould, the rubber seal in the washing machine was covered in mould, the oven had soo much grease literally cooked onto the walls that it took 3 attempts using industrial chemicals to remove most, not all of it, (which we did ourselves as we could not wait for them to act). It took 18 months of chasing them for a copy of our deposit receipt which was only registered with the DPS but no funds actually deposited, (I am still chasing them for a refund even after the landlord agreed to release the funds a week ago!!). It's no wonder the landlord switched agents. The staff are very rude and unapologetic for their mistakes, particularly the 'sales director' Vicky who was the only staff member who had not left since we first moved in, and would hide when she saw us walking into the office. I would strongly advise against using this estate agent.

DO NOT use Location Location. When trying to rent a property from them, we experienced persistent delays in the pre-contractual stage both with Location Location and the 'administration' company they outsourced their work to.

Further, on the date we agreed with Location Location for moving in, we turned up to find that the old tenants HAD NOT MOVED OUT. We had to couch-surf while the old occupiers hurriedly vacated the property (surprise surprise: Location Location had not been in touch with them either), and now, two months later we have not received our admin fee (£180 per person!) back let alone an apology.

STEER CLEAR.

I have used Location Location as a letting agent and I found their customer service and ability to manage even small queries to be disgraceful!

From looking at the reviews below, it appears to me that maybe they only offer basic common curtosy to their clients who are buying/selling. If you are thinking about using Location Location as a letting agent, I warn you at all costs avoid them!! They will never return your phone calls, I think we have left over 10 messages with them. They will miss appoitments, as someone who works full time and has to take time off to be avilable during these appointments, this is highly frustrating! Oh and did I mention that dispite being promised our full despoit to be returned to us within 14 days, it has been over a month and we have yet to see any of it, despite chasing up the estate agents daily! We will be forced to take legal action, if this continues as Location Location are clearly operating outside the terms of their contract with us. Avoid at all costs!

The worst service I have ever come across with any estate agent. We used Location Location as a letting agent through a lady called Vicky. My main complaint has been that after almost 2 months of moving out of our pristine flat, we have still not received our deposit back. Despite 2 emails, 9 calls to the office and an email to the MD of the business; still no deposit. Secondly, the care and consideration they give to their clients is almost nil. Calls are never returned to you, staff are condescending on the phone and more than one appointment for them to come to our flat whilst we were renting through them was missed with no explanation or courtesy phone call to inform us of a delay. Do not even think about renting a property through them as it is more trouble than it's worth.

Avoid - our experience as a young couple trying to let a property was just plain awful. All in London says "Please be constructive, no ranting!", but what's the purpose of a review if not to warn other consumers?

We were dealing with people who clearly hadn't spent more than a few weeks on the job. Fine, we could live with that. They were nice and polite. But then the misery started.

We were told one offer would be accepted (it wasn't and we wasted an entire weekend's flat hunting), and were then incorrectly told that another offer had been accepted. Great, second time lucky. We gave them our money, fees at 180 per person (higher than the market rate) and our holding deposit and then... nothing.

Ooops, then they got back to us after a few days having "found out" that the landlord had in fact rejected our offer! Oh dear. So the time was lost, but where was our money? Again, tied up for days, including one where no one authorised to even check the accounts was working in the office.

If you want to waste days of your flat hunt, get these guys on board. If you can't afford to waste your own time and run the risk of having hundreds of pounds in limbo, avoid "Location, Location". They are polite, nice people - but not up to the job.

My wife and I have had a valuation from, and purchased a house through Location Location and on both separate types of transaction have found them to be a pleasure to deal with. They have friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who appear genuinely interested in you. We moved to our current address and after a month or so received a call from one of the staff to make sure we were settling in fine and how we were getting on with our new house; no ulterior motive, no sales to push, just good customer care

Great agency that made the stress of moving a simple easy process. Would definetely use them again, they saved me alot of time and energy!
