The Fish Bowl

Awful experience, horrible customer service, the stuff is not helpful, is not knowledgeable about fish. They sold us a broken fish tank, we went back for the third time expecting to get a new tank and they said that’s not their problem and we need to sort it out on our own and deal with the company which is not fair because they are the one that sold us the liking tank. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all.
Very BAD experience

Staff are really rude and unhelpful. Maybe if they smiled more and made you feel welcome I would go there more often . it's really over priced. And the owners are really miserable and made me feel stupid when I asked for help.

I have received a lot of help from the staff in the fish department. I first went to the shop some years back with a sick fish and the man helped me so much that it has become the shop I go to when I need advice. They have a great range of fish who are kept in good condition. They also have a large range of accessories which makes shopping there more interesting. My daughter also bought her bearded dragon from this shop. Anyway, overall, I have been happy with the quality of the service and products, and also very happy with the fish which I have bought from the Fish Bowl.

i like the fish ball the staff were useful but the tortoises there and other reptiles were very over priced. for example a tortoise was £160 when a tortoise from the tortoise center basildon was £100. i do recomend the fish ball if you are looking for a fish but if you want a reptile go to tortoise center basildon at tortoisecenter.com .

Amazing place, I left my birds for Xmas time. I am very happy with all services!

I agree with paul. I have taken my dog in there a number of times and the dog behind the counter makes you feel unwelcome and the staff members have to remove the cat from the floor so he does not attack my dog. And for the lady owner, well she is a problem by herself, I asked her a few questions about the birds the shop was selling and she made me felt absolutely useless. I feel sorry for the staff members who have to work under her because I have experienced her shouting at that poor georgina girl before.

Hello there everyone.
I have had problems with the cat and the dog that are always in the Fish Bowl.
The cat attacks my dog and their dog always makes you feel un-welcome.
I have had to pay for vet bills because The pet shop cat Clawed at my dogs face.
Please try to avoid taking any animals you may own there.

Everyone was really helpful and kind. They even deliver to you if you need it. Great range of fish products and fish. 10/10!!!!

Excellent tropical fish dept. Owners more than helpful with fish tank set-up advice and even delivered for me - great service.
