Royal Mail

Managed to arrive just before closing time (1pm!!) today to find the door locked and an unhelpful worker on the other side of the glass shaking his head at me. Not ideal... Either stay open longer or don't lock the door before closing hours.

Would rate -1 if I could. They lost me a package from Portugal worth £54, item was tracked and they couldn't be bothered to look for it.
Looks like workers in Kentish Town DO do not want to do their job.
Will keep writing poor reviews until they decide to refund me or actually look for the item I sent

Just spoke with Bernie and Justin here who are extremely helpful. They are very understanding of a situation and have helped solved it. Really nice to receive great service!

It's been 7 times that I had parcels not delivered to me while I was at home.

I just found a not delivered note on my doorstep.
Despicable and disrespectful service.

Collection office is open till 1pm.

Who over the age of 3 has time to collect anything before 1pm?

That bad level of service would drive any other company out of business but it's Post Office so it's not really an option....

I can't believe all the negative reviews! I always get through first time and everyone is always polite, cheerful and very helpful. They've even stayed open 5 mins longer so I could get my parcel! On some days it's open til later, but that info is on delivery card left! It needs to be updated on this site. I like going in here as its a step back in time to real people working real jobs!!!

An error on my part meant that a high value package was sent to the wrong PO Box via Royal Mail guaranteed next day delivery. Once I realised my mistake, and a phone call to the national help line which was not of sny help, I tracked down the local delivery office, phoned them and they were incredibly helpful, tracked down my errant package and ensured delivery to the correct PO Box. A big thank you to the Delivery Office Manager Emma Reid.

In here all the time and i've always found the really staff really friendly and pleasant. Witnessed several abusive, rude customers however. If you are friendly , polite respectful you get the same back. They are human beings yet so many people seem to think please/thankyou unnecessary . It is!

Kentish Town Post Office is an abysmal dump run by degenerate, halfwitted, rude, ignorant pigs. You breed hate.

If I ever have to go back there I shall film events and pass to relevant internet blogs, we have to fight back against your disgusting service.

This is a terrible service! Royal Mail has lost my parcels on two occasions... staff in Kentish Town Post Office refused to track down the packages. They were rude and unfriendly. I would not recommended this service!

Just terrible!

This place has been seriously neglected with regards to staffing. I suspect there is only one person holding the fort and just does not have time to answer the phone! I have tried calling numerous times.....for days on end.....no answer I actually went along on Saturday also and after a mammouth trek down the Regis road, I arrived to a scribbled out notice on the door to say they were closed due to staffing issues. WHAT.A.PALARVA.
Avoid at ALL costs, especially if you work because the opening hours are limited to 1pm (but it is open from 7.30-am if you can get there before rushing to work). A plus is that if you can eventually get through (like I did today), you can get them to redeliver it to another nw5 address or, to the local post office in Kentish Town which is great because the opening hours are much beter! When I finally got though, the guy was generally polite and helpful though. Resist from giving the staff aggro because it is not thier fault!......remember who is at the top....the people to blame! Roayl mail, get it together!

Don't be in a hurry if you want to speak to someone on the phone. I tried 6 times and every time they hung up the phone on me (went to an engaged signal after ringing for 5 minutes each time).
Shoddy but what is expected of the Royal Mail I guess. Why do they not have a call waiting system or as it appears not someone to look after the phones.
