Shepherds Bush -Street Parking ???

Going up to Shepherds bush for some shopping and a gig next week. I understand there is street parking around the Arminger Road area. with Parking meters till in use til 5.30pm then free in evening. Can someone here advise whether it is ok to park up at say 2.30, put 3 hours fee in meter, then return to car at 11pm - without getting a penalty notice?

I couldn't see Arminger Road on the parking zone maps but if you look at this page:

http://www.lbhf.gov.uk

You'll see that certain areas have a 2 hour maximum stay limit during charging hours.

Hope that's of some use, the maps and links on that site should be some use though.

Thanks for your help guys.... we parked in a parallel road to Arminger Road- on that day it was permit holders only for some reason. We could park for up to 8 hours for £1.60 per hour. Of course it was free from 5pm, so we just paid for 2 hours
