Not to be confused with Finchley Road, the area north of St. Johnís Wood, Finchley is a residential suburb with a mostly middle class population as well as a considerable Jewish community, therefore there are various synagogues in the area as well as Jewish bakeries and Londonís second Jewish Museum (the first one being in Camden). There are a few supermarkets but there is little in terms of shopping overall, however the restaurants offer Iranian, Chinese, Indian and Turkish food among others.
