Not to be confused with Finchley Road, the area north of St. John’s Wood, Finchley is a residential suburb with a mostly middle class population as well as a considerable Jewish community, therefore there are various synagogues in the area as well as Jewish bakeries and London’s second Jewish Museum (the first one being in Camden). There are a few supermarkets but there is little in terms of shopping overall, however the restaurants offer Iranian, Chinese, Indian and Turkish food among others. Its leafy streets appeal to those looking for a quiet, safe neighbourhood without being too far away from inner London. Finchley is served by several stations on the Northern Line (Finchley Central, East Finchley, West Finchley and Woodside Park). Which borough is Finchley in?
Finchley is in the borough of Barnet
