Fitzrovia Guide

Fitzrovia is not an official location within London and is considered to be the region north of the West End. Fitzrovia traverses the London Boroughs of Camden and City of Westminster and is surrounded by Oxford Street, Great Portland Street, Euston Road and Tottenham Court Road.

Fitzrovia is rather interesting as a region, partly because it was owned largely by several small landowners, which has meant that there are a greater number of winding streets than in some of the more uniformly developed neighbouring regions.

Today, Fitzrovia is made up of impressive townhouses, many of which have been converted into offices for the legal and media industries although some remain as private residences.
