Palmers Green Guide

This North London suburb is home to the largest population of Greek Cypriots outside of Cyprus, owing to the British colonial rule of Cyprus up until the 1960s. Green Lanes is a renowned spot for Greek and Turkish Cypriot eateries and grocery stores, there are also plenty of cafes and cheap clothing shops. The area is leafy and the large houses with bay windows and gardens appeal to families, while the lack of a tube means house prices come down a notch, however Green Lanes and the North Circular can get very congested, particularly during rush hour. The area has plenty of green spaces to make up for this, notably Priory Park.
