I went to Rossopomodoro in Kensington Park Road on a Sunday with my family for lunch as my wife had been there a couple of times before. The food was good but the service was TERRIBLY SLOW! The manager was friendly enough but his teenage female staff were USELESS! We wont be going again. |

Went there by chance early evening on a hot weekday, anticipating having a so-so pasta dish (instead of cooking something at home), but was completely bowled over by the fantastic pizzas being served on adjoining tables, to Italians. The whole place was full of Italians having a great time. We duly chose pizzas which arrived in pretty good time and were delicious - the base was very light, almost like chapati (but tastier!) and the toppings were obviously absolutely fresh and in good quantities. For someone like me who does not usually 'do' pizza, it was a revelation! Between us we all but finished both of them, and then even went on to have one of their beautifully presented puds! Yummy! Service was typically cheerful Italian, slightly haphazard but very charming! We will definitely go back, particularly if we have the whole family (and children!) in Town. We are very blessed with many great 'fun' restaurants in this area and it is well worth visiting any of them. |
