I had a totally nightmare experience with Kikuchi and my husband and I decided not to enter the restaurant. Firstly, once my husband and I entered the door, we were immediately told that all the tables are fully booked and only two places are available at the counter for 1hr and 30min. Obviously, there was several tables which didn't have 'reserved' signs and no single customer was there. Still, when we said yes we are fine with that counter seats, the next question was the minimum charge is £25 per person. Apparently, the Kikuchi does not want to accept non-Japanese customer for some unknown reason. It is a shame that we went there only because my Japanese colleagues like its Japanese traditional pub-like atmosphere. If you don't want to get dissappointed even before reading the menu, you better avoid visiting the Kikuchi in the first place. Worst experience I have ever had in London restaurant.

If you do not know Japanese Culture,
expect any diluted Japanese food, like Dragon Rolls or Fusion Japanese food,
don`t speak Japanese,
are on a budget, then don´t go here. You are most likely to offend in some way or another.
It´s a small authentic Restaurant with simple and consistent great food.
It´s mostly visited by Japanese business men.
Reservation required and cost are min. 20 pounds per person, not including drinks.
